October Events Guide
Welcome to the very first post on The Buzz Blog!
If you’re anything like me, the hardest part of making plans isn’t going out — it’s figuring out what to do and where to go. The endless Google searches and doomscrolling on TikTok, the back-and-forth texts, and the stress of coordinating with friends (or deciding if you’re brave enough to go solo) can feel overwhelming.
So, I decided to make things a little easier. I pulled together a list of the most interesting events happening around Houston this October — complete with dates, locations, prices, and direct links. That way you can pick a favorite or two and toss them straight into the group chat. Or, if you’re anything like me, just send the whole list to your bestie and let her choose where you’re headed first.
This roundup has something for everyone:
• A night out at a Frank Sinatra tribute concert at the Marriott Marquis
• Pumpkin patches and photo ops for the kids, dogs, or your whole squad
• Weekend escapes to Galveston or festive vibes at the Kemah Boardwalk
No matter your vibe — solo adventure, family fun, or a girls’ night out — I’ve got you covered with October’s best Houston happenings.
